In this new role, you will support Crux’s continued growth in the medical and consumer goods sectors. You will proactively create, and nurture leads, working with our internal teams to drive new business with global clients. You will be required to learn and pitch Crux’s capabilities to new leads, passionately communicating our value proposition using technical language.

Position Overview:

Crux is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our Operations team as an Office Receptionist. The role will include a diverse range of responsibilities, supporting the wider team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a few years of office administration or customer service experience looking to further their career.

In this full-time role, you will be managing the arrival experience for our clients and visitors, providing a friendly, welcoming and professional first impression for the business. Additionally, you will be handling incoming calls and managing incoming/outgoing deliveries. Helping the team with general administrative duties will also make up a large part of the role, including managing office supplies and assisting with ad hoc tasks.

On occasion, you will also be required to assist with the logistics and running of user research and human factor studies as part of our design and development projects.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors, being professional and friendly (client/visitor experience)
  • Building a rapport with regular visitors and clients
  • Arranging meetings and ordering catering as required
  • Answering the telephone, transferring calls and taking accurate messages
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • Arranging outgoing mail and parcel delivery
  • Providing flexible support to a dynamic team to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Ensuring office and studio supplies are maintained
  • Complete simple maintenance tasks e.g., coffee machine
  • Ad hoc research
  • Assisting in the arrangement and scheduling of building maintenance
  • Support in arranging human factor research schedules, documentation and coordinating participant visits

Essential
  • Previous general office administration, reception or customer service experience
  • 5+ GCSEs grade 9-6 (A-C) or equivalent
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and professional manner
  • Great customer service skills, remaining approachable and calm at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident to use own initiative and ability to juggle priorities
  • Quick learner and an appetite to pick up new skills and technologies

  • Adaptable problem solver with a “can do” attitude
Desirable
  • Experience of SAP By Design or other ERP systems would be advantageous

Position Overview:

As a Commercial Project Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in organising and managing sales-related initiatives and projects within Crux.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior management to plan, manage and deliver sales projects and campaigns to achieve our goals, strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).

We need an innovative, experienced and delivery focused individual with the drive and enthusiasm to push forward relentlessly in a fast paced and supportive team environment.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Managing cross-functional teams to deliver multiple sales projects effectively.
  • Providing project management activities for sales campaigns alongside our marketing pushes.
  • Creating detailed project plans, setting milestones and managing risks.
  • Monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Managing and allocating resource for sales projects and managing interdependences between client projects.
  • Managing the budget allocated for sales projects and campaigns, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that expenditures are within budget constraints.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status to internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to shape program strategies.
  • Collaborating with sales representatives to gather feedback and insights for program improvements.
  • Maintaining open and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaising with events and conferences, including handling presentation content, conference stand bookings, and event sponsorship.
