  • Managing multiple design and development projects, ranging from initial concept, product definition, design & development, and transfer to manufacture

  • Managing timelines, resource, budgets and risks

Principal responsibilities…

  • Supporting the Project Managers with administration tasks for client projects.
  • Supporting Project Managers with the monitoring of project costs and budgets. Updating and maintaining project budget reports and health checks.  
  • Attending and minute taking for key meetings and discussions.
  • Owning the setup of new projects, including creating new project codes and Sales Orders in SAP, assigning project phase codes for timesheet submissions, creating project folders and Microsoft Team channels for project communication.
  • Creating project kick-off presentation slide templates.
  • Scheduling client meetings for projects.  
  • Managing agendas and logistics for client visits to Crux.
  • Producing regular reports for the Project Management team and Board of Directors, including weekly project hours and material budgets reports, fortnightly expected invoice date reports.
  • Supporting the Project Managers with end of project debriefs and closedowns in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Arranging flights and accommodation for project activities as required.
  • Updating the project resource planner with holidays, training and new starters.

  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and 0365) and across a range of software applications used across the business
  • Assist all users with any IT and digital related incident, whether desk side or remote, logging support tickets to document system changes and resolution actions

  • Install and configure new IT equipment

Crux Product Design is an ambitious Bristol based consultancy, looking for a talented individual with a technical and/or data-driven background to join our Operations & Quality team. You will manage our primary business system and processes, engaging with different stakeholders to interpret their requirements into technical solutions.

The role and responsibilities will scale with candidate experience but will primarily include management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) System (SAP ByDesign) and other key business systems. Core objectives include working to streamline management information reporting, evolving internal commercial processes, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Principal responsibilities

  • Assume Systems Administration responsibilities for our SAP ByDesign system
  • Development of reporting suite for business objectives and key results
  • Data collection and analysis of emissions data aligned to our sustainability GHG reductions targets
  • Development of system dashboards or reports for specific roles and teams
  • Customisation of workflow processes and fields
  • Identification of systems improvements, scoping, testing and implementation
  • Monitoring of system enhancements and potential changes with full testing through sandbox account
  • Alignment with Business Intelligence Analyst and other reporting, systems used within the business
  • Help shape various aspects of our strategy and develop objectives based on insights
